Versio Builder  

Haglöf Management System and Versio Builder enable you to write your personal custom data collecting software for the field computer Digitech® Professional.

Versio Builder is a software module in Haglof Management Systems to create your custom data collecting software for download to your Digitech Professional Computer. To compile and run your software, you will also need the software Versio DP in your Digitech Computer.

Data from Versio DP software to PC will be transferred as a tab separated text file or an XML file. These files can be opened and read or viewed in, for example, Windows Excel or Word.

Software

Many different kinds of data collecting programs for your Digitech Professional Computer can be made, for various applications. Some examples of software solutions are listed below:

Forest Inventory Program.

Connect a Bluetooth GPS and the Digitech® Tape as a diameter tape. Store data as Tracts ID, GPS coordinates , Cruiser, Date, Tract area, plot size, species name, defects, Diameters, Heights, and anything else you wish to add and custom design to your program.

Log Scaling Program.

Connect the Digitech® Professional Caliper and the Digitech ® Tape as a distance measuring tape. (The Digitech Tape is simply slid onto the com port on the computer terminal.) Store data as Ticket ID, Date, Species name, defects, Diameters, Length, Grade and anything else you wish to custom design to your program.

Research Possession Sampling Program.

Connect a Bluetooth GPS and the Digitech® Tape as a diameter tape and use the PosTex Positioning Instrument to set tree coordinates in the plot (also see separate user’s manual for the PosTex Instrument Solution). Store data as Plot ID, Date and Plot GPS coordinate. On each possible tree store species, Diameters, Heights and the X & Y coordinate on the tree from PosTex.
